2011

The first Can Touch Disc tournament occured on 8-9 January 2011. On this weekend 16 teams of 13 clubs from 6 countries arrived in Hajduboszormeny. The 119 players played more than 990 minutes in 2 gyms and scored 929 points on 52 games.

These figures do not say anything for those who weren’t there and they cannot imagine the ambience of such an international environment. However, the participators certainly left the town with good feelings and will remember, for a long time, these days. We believe every club could capitalize on the competition since:

  • for the freshers it was a definitely good opportunity to meet really good teams who showed the level where they can develop within a few years;
  • those who finished in the middle of the final standing table got a chance to practice and integrate their new players;
  • although the best four teams had easy job while defeating the less experienced outfits, from the semifinal they really had to fight for the victory, moreover they met those clubs who will hopefully start a new wave of ultimate in Eastern-Europe.
